Green Tea- Immunity Campaigner
Green Tea- Immunity Campaigner
From the private gardens of The Western Ghats, WhisB finds inspiration from nature to provide a royal flavour, quality and strength to its green tea leaves.
Under the banner – ‘Immunity Campaigner’ this initiative by WhisB aims to harness the ancient wisdom of green tea consumption, intertwined with modern health science, to offer a beverage that not only refreshes but also enhances the body’s immune response.
Our team campaigns for ‘Strong body Strong mind’ through various programs, campaigns and activities.
History and Origin
The tradition of green tea consumption dates back thousands of years. It was originally rooted in China before spreading across Asia and then to the rest of the world. Green tea is deeply intertwined with culture, medicine, and tradition, making it one of the oldest and most consumed beverages globally. Ancient Chinese texts, including the “Classic of Tea” written by Lu Yu in the 8th century, detail the health benefits of tea, these beliefs contributed to tea’s popularity and its integration into daily life.
Why WhisB’s Immunity Campaigner
Whisb’s Immunity Campaigner distinguishes itself through its unique origin—Kerala, India. Unlike traditional green tea varieties, the SINGLE ESTATE GROWN TEA LEAVES boast a distinct flavour profile that is both rich and smooth, with a subtle sweetness not found in other regions. This speciality green tea undergoes minimal processing to retain the maximum amount of antioxidants, beneficial compounds and additional flavour characteristics, ensuring that each cup offers the full spectrum of health benefits. Immense care is taken from planting to packing and if we can make you feel good after a cup of WhisB, we usually pronounce our campaign successful.
Prepare a refreshing cup of warm WhisB Green Tea
The grandpa style method
It’s a popular method of brewing where the leaves are placed directly into a cup and hot water is added. The leaves are left to steep and settle at the bottom of the cup. This method is simple and convenient, but it may result in a stronger cup of green tea.
Refreshing chilled WhisB Green for summers
Cold tea refreshes with its crisp, invigorating flavours, perfect for quenching thirst on a warm day, while hot tea provides a comforting warmth, releasing the deep, nuanced aromas and tastes of the leaves. Each method brings out different aspects of the tea’s character, ensuring that whether served chilled or steaming, the tea remains deliciously satisfying.
Let’s make a cup of WhisB Green Tea
Allow larger brewing space for the leaves to unfurl
Once the water boils, switch it off
Pour hot water over 2 grams of tea leaves
Steep for 1-3 mins [ mild to strong]
Time to strain
Sit down, Sip slowly & Satiate
Cold Brewing
Soak 3 grams of green tea leaves overnight in a glass of water or 15 grams for a litre and drink it cool the next day. It results in a smooth and refreshing cup of tea with a milder flavour compared to hot brewing. Simply place the green tea leaves in cold water and let them steep for 8-12 hours. Strain out the leaves before serving and enjoy your chilled green tea the next day.
