Frequently Asked Questions
1. How is WhisB Green tea produced?
Our tea leaves are plucked during the early growth stage, when the leaves are young and tender. The green tea leaves are plucked during the early morning hours when the dew has evaporated to ensure freshness and natural flavour retention.
2. Why are whole leaves better than the other?
Whole-leaves preserve vital oils and flavours better than broken or powdered leaves. The entire leaves inhibit flavour release while steeping, creating a more healthy and balanced tea.

Loose tea leaves generally contain higher-quality leaves, which results in more flavourful and aromatic cup of tea. Additionally, loose tea allows for customisation in terms of the strength and intensity of the brew, as you can adjust the amount of tea leaves according to your preference. And it is also more environment friendly as it decreases packaging waste.

It is rich in antioxidants such as catechins, which helps in fighting free radicals and reducing cell damage. These antioxidants also have anti-inflammatory properties which can lower the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer. 11. What motivated WhisB choose their areas of focus as ‘love yourself’ and ‘strong body strong mind’?
The founder of WhisB, Deepthy P Nair [DPN] lost her mother to cancer after a long 5-year battle with the deadly disease.
Her mother was an icon, who contributed immensely to education, teaching and the welfare of the society.
But, in her mission to empower, M J Usha Devi compromised on taking care of her body and the mind, thus leaving us early in life.
Whistler Birds rise from the ashes of her strength, passion and commitment.
And here at WhisB, our team promises to pledge a good part of our time to contribute to her dreams for the society. Since we understand the importance of ‘self-love’ and ‘strong body strong mind’, WhisB teams up to uphold the same through our products
